Hung jury???

Dena Schlosser cut off her baby's arms. Of that there's no doubt. The doubt seems to enter the picture about whether or not she was sane at the time. My thoughts.... who the fuck cares. In cases such as this where it is crystal clear that a child was killed and the guilty party is basically standing over the dead body, I think the trial should be very short. Some would say no trial at all. I can't go that far because I do believe in our system. But it should be very short and to the point.

Let the responding officer testify to what he/she walked in on. Admit the statement by the defendant, in this case it was... "god told me to cut off her arms then my own and my own head." (Wheres slow police response when you really need it?) She did have a cut on her own shoulder. I would have been tempted to have gone for donuts long enough to give her time to finish the job on herself.

The sad part of the story, other than the death of the child, is that 10 out of 12 was agreeing that she was insane at the time. I say give her a very sharp knife and let her finish the job she says god gave her to do.

Excessive but funnier than hell....

A man in Bogata Columbia got a 4 year house arrest sentence for slapping a womans ass as he rode by on his bicycle. 4yrs???? I'm thinking a 30 day sentence in jail so he could get his ass slapped a few times might have been more approapriate.

The girlification of NASCAR

Where did NBC and FOX get the idea that NASCAR fans wanted a concert before every race? Last week it was almost acceptable with the Daytona 500. After all it is the showcase race of the year. This week FOX gives us a live infield song by Jewel. If I want a song by Jewel, I'll tune into VH1, MTV or the WashedUp network. I tune into NASCAR for racing and racing news. NOT to be entertained musically by anyone.
